Dennis: About Harry, Ron etc.. and his flat. Dennis has asked his Muggle to post a few things about him, his fellow Gryffindors and his flat
In order:
Harry: Dennis thinks Harry is wonderful, not because he was the "Chosen One" but (at first) because he was Brilliant at Quidditch and not snotty about it. Now, he thinks Harry is great because he was always nice to Colin and him even when he must have been annoyed. And because Harry was a great and patient teacher in the DA
Ron: See Harry, regarding Quidditch. Also, Dennis had a bit of Hero Worship regarding Ron. He always thought Ron would be great fun and such but could never approach him, and when he did it came out in a series of annoying questions but he wanted to be his friend.
Ginny: See Harry and Ron..re Quidditch
Seamus: See Ron re; Fun guy
Neville: Neville wrote Dennis and his parents after Colin died. Mr and Mrs. Creevey wrote back accepting his condolences. Dennis didn't. It wasn't that he blamed Neville. Dennis doesn't blame anyone except the person who actually took Colin's life. But he was in no shape to respond to anyone or anything. 18 months later he did write to Neville thanking him. As far as Dennis is concerned Colin always wanted to be part of the WW, and he always will be by insuring it's survival.
On Slytherins et al... Dennis has no sympathy for adult death eaters. They made their choices when they were old enough to know better. However...those that were students...he thinks they deserve a break, a chance to see what would happen if they were allowed to make their own choices. He is a bit of a liberal/bleeding heart in that respect
His asthma.,,,his triggers are strong odors (garlic doesn't count) sudden and drastic changes in temperature, asperin, and cigar smoke, and oak pollen.
His flat (in case any one visits and wants to know the layout) Spare, spotlessly clean (his asthma, remember). Living room is furnished with an old camel back sofa his mom and dad reupolstered in blue denim, a wing back chair in white denim and 7 or 8 floor cushions. A handmade rug is on the floor (white with red and black checks). Dining room. Trestle table and white slipcovered chairs (all found at estate sales and refurbished by his folks). Breakfast nook. No table, 2 comfy chairs so someone could talk to him while he cooks. Largest bedroom is library. No shelves yet, but he's working on it. Middle bedroom: the warmest in winter (according to his landlord) and is his bedroom. It has a floor lamp, a kingsized bed and a wood bench at the end of the bed covered in books. The last bedroom which is the 'front bedroom' gets the most light and is his yoga studio. |
